I’m looking for some guidance regarding a Wayspot that I originally nominated and that has since been accepted.
After reviewing its position more carefully, I believe the current pin does not represent the real-world location of the nominated feature as accurately as it could. The actual feature / appropriate point of discovery is located on the other side of the site, and I would like the Wayspot pin to correspond more accurately with where visitors physically encounter and access it.
I have tried the normal location-edit process but have not been able to get the location corrected.
Could an Ambassador or experienced Wayfarer please advise me on the best way to request a manual location review? Current coordinates - 28.588216, 77.060132

It’s hard to tell from the lack of street view and the fact that satellite view is obscured via trees, but it looks like the current location is almost correct, whilst the location you’re suggesting is incorrect.
Judging by what I can see in the photo for the wayspot, it looks like the exercise equipment is within the blue rectangle that I’ve drawn. The current location is pretty much on the border of this, whilst the black pin is the location you’re suggesting should be the new location, and it’s further away.
Like I say though, satellite view isn’t conclusive. If the exercise equipment is in fact at the black pin, then you would need to go and take some geotagged photos of the location and then request the edit using the wayfarer support chat, which can be accessed when you login to your wayfarer account by going to the help page and tap the speech bubble icon in the corner to open a ticket. If I’m right that the equipment is within that blue rectangle though, then you shouldn’t request the edit as it may be deemed abusive.
Thanks for the prompt and detailed response. You’ve actually marked the blue rectangle pretty accurately. I would just extend it a little further upwards.
The black pin I marked is roughly where the exercise area begins, rather than representing the centre of the entire exercise area. And yes, you’re absolutely right that satellite view is unlikely to be conclusive here. This whole locality has a lot of mature tree cover, so many of the features on the ground are obscured from above.
The reason I considered requesting the location change in the first place is simply accuracy. With the current pin, someone approaching the Wayspot could reasonably think the exercise area is on the other side of the entrance from where it actually is. The current pin and the actual beginning/entrance of the exercise area are approximately 70–80 metres apart, based on what I can see and measure on the map.
If it were only 5–10 metres, I honestly wouldn’t bother changing it. It was the much larger difference that made me feel the location might be worth correcting.
That said, I definitely don’t want to submit anything that could be interpreted as abusive. My only intention here is to have the Wayspot represent its real-world location as accurately as possible. Given how inconclusive the satellite imagery is because of the trees, I think your suggestion of taking clear geotagged photos on-site and providing those through Wayfarer Support would probably be the safest way forward.
Reading “between the lines” and looking at the map IMO this definitely looks like a Both locations are correct but the current 1 is not used in Pokemon Go and moving it would make it appear.
If this is incorrect you would need evidence, geo tagged images that show…
A: The current location is incorrect.
B: The new location is correct.
Remember that it has been stated on the forums many times that moving a location from a correct location to a similar correct location can be deemed as Abuse.
