I would like to request a review of the removal of my Wayspot “Kuntwischer Walk” in Contwig, Germany. (49.250545, 7.431430)
I submitted an appeal on October 16, 2026, which was officially accepted on October 20, 2026. I received an email confirming that my nomination should become a Wayspot.
The Wayspot subsequently appeared as a PokéStop in Pokémon GO and was accessible in the game.
However, on October 21, 2026, I noticed that the PokéStop had disappeared. I also could no longer find the Wayspot on the Wayfarer map.
The trail marker physically exists at the submitted location. The walking route and installation of its markers were coordinated with the municipality of Contwig and its mayor.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate why this recently approved Wayspot disappeared and whether it can be restored.
I can provide the appeal approval email, screenshots showing the PokéStop in Pokémon GO, and photographs of the physical trail marker.
