Hello, I recently submitted a small dog park I found at the end of the public street. I suspect it was declined for the sign saying no parking as the road it leads to is private property, but I have no option to appeal so not sure what I can do. The private property that can be seen on google maps is solely referring to the parking past the electronic gate. The park itself can be used by anyone, and there are no signs saying otherwise. Thanks for any help.

This is a park / Garden not a dog park.

Given that it is part of student accommodation I would expect it to be an outdoor space where the students can socialise as I can see some benches. In many ways it seems to be drawing on the gardens found in the middle of the crescents in the New town area of Edinburgh.

It is going to need a rethink, new photos that try to capture that this is a place to relax and socialise. And a description that reflects that. If you can find a reference to this space and use on line it will. Be a big help.

There looks to be a similar space nearby.

With all that seating around, looks more like a rest area to me.

Yes, I have to agree that this is more of an outdoor space for all, not just dogs, especially with the walking paths and benches. Dog parks typically will have fences to help keep the dogs from running away. Many park/garden areas may have signs asking that one pick up after their pets, even signs asking humans to not litter, so I consider the sign to be more of an ask to keep the area clean for everyone.

So, this would be better to resubmit as an outdoor space like a small park or garden, not solely a dog park.
