Submissions Stuck in Voting for 6+ Months

I currently have 6 submissions that have been sitting without resolution since January 24th-27th of this year. I made dozens of other submissions around that same area and time that reached a result in a matter of weeks or less (which is typical for the area), but these 5 photo additions and 1 title edit seem to be solidly stuck in voting and I’m not sure why. Although the location might be considered somewhat remote/rural (Alaska), I submitted other wayspot edits on the very same day as some of the ones still sitting in voting that took just a few days to be accepted. Over the last couple years I’ve made over 100 submissions in this specific city, and this is the only time I’ve had any take more than a few weeks. The extreme wait makes me think there is some crack in the system they’ve fallen through, so I’m posting in the hopes of getting it looked into.

Have you try upgrade?

When there is not many reviewer or too many people skip, review process might take longer. Although i agree this is taking a bit too long . Each nomination is unique so even when another nomination can be approved faster, doesnt mean all other nomination will be reviewed with the same speed.(the former might be “easier” nomination than the latter)

I am curious what the staff gonna said about this

I haven’t, just don’t want to spend hard-earned upgrades on all 6 instead of having the problem properly investigated (I’m curious too lol).

I will say that the title edit is 1 of 3 nearly identical ones from the same day; the wayspots have the same title with different numbers at the end and I was correcting the same minor typo for all 3 (misspelled street name, correct spelling is right there on the map) which is as straightforward as it gets. The other 2 were accepted within days no problem. At least 3 of the photos should be similarly straightforward as there’s no doubt when comparing to the existing photo that they show the correct point of interest. I could see an argument for 2 photos being less obvious since the existing photo is of a sign and I submitted photos of what the sign is actually for, but 4/6 should be slam-dunk acceptances so to me it seems like something is wrong. I know rural priority was having issues earlier this year and maybe that’s related? Who knows…

Hey @featheredmirage ,

I looked into your contributions and they are working as expected.

To ensure high-quality Wayspots and their contents, each contribution is manually reviewed by a community of Scopely Explore players. The time of this process may vary depending on numerous factors such as the volume of contributions or the level of contribution detail.

We will send you a confirmation when we receive your contribution and will also let you know if your contribution is deemed eligible or ineligible as soon as it has been reviewed.

Best,

Is this abnormal delay something that mirage could’ve prevented? Is their contribution being skipped very often or how is this possible?

There is no abnormality here. These contributions are behaving the way others do.

Could be.

I submitted 3 title edits on the same date correcting the same typo that were identical other than the number at the end though, so surely it is highly abnormal that two would make it through within three days, and one sits for two hundred days. That submission in particular should be among the easiest acceptances possible, as the correct street name is quite literally on the map and can be verified at a glance. There are four wayspots next to the one being edited that are titled with the same street name spelled correctly; there is zero ambiguity. Over the past two years I have made more than a hundred submissions here, and the wait time for this little handful of edits is over six times as long as the next longest it has taken for something of mine to reach a resolution here. I appreciate that you took the time to respond to my post, but I still find it very hard to believe that the system is working entirely as expected when this is an absurd outlier.
