Tried to edit the location of a new stop , was close to the stop and when trying to edit it, the marker would reset. How do we submit it then? The location was off by a few hundred feet

There is a very short distance you can do an in game edit (due to past abuse) so for location edits >10m you need to use help chat.
Go to the Help Tab on the Wayfarer site https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/help and a chat box will come up. Tap it and a bot will ask for information.
You can add evidence if the correct location isn’t clear on Maps. A bot takes the information, but a human will reply in the box after the request has been evaluated. You may want to make note of the ticket number they give you, because losing your browser history will leave you unable to see their reply.
I should mention that they can accept your request, reject your request, move the wayspot to a different location that they think is more accurate after investigating your request, or decide to remove the Wayspot completely. Or the game location could disappear if the new location does not fit density rules, but that is not a reason not to submit a correction.
