I used an upgrade on my nomination yesterday, but it’s still in the queue. What’s the point of the upgrade if other nominations take just as long to progress? It’s been over 24 hours already.
The point of an upgrade is to send it to a wider review pool. Once it gets into voting, that should speed it up.
I review more than I nominate so I have plenty of Upgrades so tend to upgrade all after the 24 hour “AI Check” time period.
There is disagreement on whether adding an upgrade whilst it is still “In Queue” can actually slow down the change to “In Voting” but this is not something I have experienced.
IMO: The Upgrade only has an effect on the “In Voting” part of the process. Not sure on the actual distances but when in voting it will be sent to a wider audience. More eyes, More reviews should mean a quicker decision.
