Wayfarer map update - delay or has something changed?

I have had several waypoints approved this last week. I get the approval mails and not long after I see the point as new pokestops in the game. But they don’t show up on the map in wayfarer ? Has something changed or is there a known bug/delay in there I should know ?

The map updated today for me. I see nominations on there that recently got approved.
