When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
- Wayspot Title: soccer field goal
- Location (lat/lon): -31.825767, 115.792508
- City:Greenwood
- Country:Australia
- Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
- Additional Information (if any):
Wayspot is located on the grounds of a high school, Greenwood College - refer https://www.greenwood.wa.edu.au
This can be verified by referring to a map of Greenwood College - refer https://www.behance.net/gallery/45882995/Illustrated-campus-plans
You definitely need to check the links you provided, as the second one (behance.net) took me to a campus plan for York St John University, which is in York, UK.
These soccer goals look like they are on public ground, along with the tennis courts and swimming pool. There is a car park which is accessed from the public road with absolutely no signage indicating school property. There is also a fence separating these facilities from the open space around the primary school.
The only thing linking this to Greenwood College is a single google maps pin, which has one review from a month ago.
A map on the college website showing these grounds are theirs would be helpful.
Greenwood College and West Greenwood PS are on the same land package on Landgate. Both are DOE schools so this makes sense.
The City of Joondalup’s intramap also lists this as one parcel, with a MRS zoning of ‘Public purposes - high school’
The link provided has different campus maps. The second image there was for Greenwood College WA. All the details match, including the swimming pool.
Thanks for your feedback.
When you click on the link, you need to scroll down to the second map which is the map of Greenwood College. The wayspot is pinned on the upper oval (next to the swimming pool)
Whilst this map does not appear on the official school website, you will note that the road - Coolibah Drive - matches that of the Greenwood College street address
So it does. I didn’t scroll after seeing York campus, since I had no reason to think different universities had been shown together.
If this happens again, it’s worth explaining how to navigate the page to get to what is important
Looks like the evidence is now clear that this is school land.
Thanks for the appeal, @BunchOfCarrots! We gave this a second look and decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
