  I reported this wayspot for ‘Unsafe Access’. The wayspot’s description itself and the building’s wikipedia page state that the area is used as a military compound (both in german). You cannot reach the wayspot from outside unless you enter the nearby school.
  Reporting PokéStop or Gym Issues — Pokémon GO Help Center states that this is a valid reason: ‘The PokéStop or Gym obstructs or interferes with Emergency Services’ ability to perform normal operations. This includes, but isn’t limited to, fire stations, police stations, hospitals, military bases, industrial sites, power plants and air traffic control towers.’

By your description, that area is not unsafe, it is just inaccessible to people who do not have access to the military compound.

This is not usually a reason to remove a waypoint.

To address your second point, this appears to be a radar station. Persons playing video games in this location are unlikely (in my opinion) to impede emergency services.

Much like how a hospital can have stops anywhere except the area where the ambulances come and go from.

The description suggests that this Wayspot was nominated for being a factory historically. In other words, it covers the entire complex which is generally accessible by staff, and hence eligible.

I don’t know if the specific building that is represented by the wayspot is public to the people within the compound, but it seems unfitting to me to have a gym in a restricted area. It seems unsafe to me that people could try to reach it by entering the nearby school.

If you feel like it’s unsafe or inappropriate for you to interact with a wayspot in a game, don’t interact with that specific spot. As long it’s appropriate and safe for some people, it’s not an issue.

According to Wikipedia,

Currently (2021), the buildings serve as training workshops for automotive and armored vehicle technology at the Army Logistics School, as well as an Army sports center.

Thanks for the appeal, @buszyy! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
