Why were my removal request for permanently closed or relocated business Wayspots rejected?

Hello everyone,

I would like to understand why several of my removal reports for Wayspots that are permanently closed or have relocated were ultimately rejected?

These locations are businesses that have either shut down or moved to a new address, but my removal requests were not accepted. I would appreciate any insight into what criteria or evidence the review team needs in order to approve removals in these situations, and what might have caused the rejections.

小椿食堂(座標:22.990178, 120.199341)

I provided a Google Street View link showing that after February 2025, the restaurant “小椿食堂” (Xiaochun Shokudo) had already moved away, and a new shop called “公館手作” (Gonguan Handmade) took over the location. Additionally, the mural seen in the Street View prior to September 2022 has also been painted over. However, Niantic ultimately did not accept my removal report. Clearly, the existence of this Wayspot no longer matches the current reality.

8818 Pizza Restaurant比薩屋 (座標:22.981503, 120.206464)

From Google Street View, it can be seen that as of February 2025, the pizza restaurant “8818” has already been replaced by “POYA” (a small mall/department store), yet this removal request was still rejected?
