What most likely has happened is that your location edit put this in a location that is ineligible to be a pokestop. See:

Staff do not acknowledge the use of S2 cells. If you would like forum regulars to check if this is the situation while you wait for a staff reply, we will be happy to. We just need the title and the gps coordinates.

If you no longer see the Wayspot on the Mapview Map at all at https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/mapview then it is possible they determined that the Wayspot should be removed completely instead of moved.
