Invalid wayspot appeal - Moore Park Swing Set

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Moore Park Swing Set
  • Location (lat/lon): 41.894866, -88.288869
  • City: Geneva, IL
  • Country: USA
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): duplicate of Moore Park Playground, 41.895055, -88.288898. these are both part of the same playground.

This would be a grey area at best. The physical separation between the main play area and the swings might constitute separate Wayspots.

Even if this is the sort of thing which should have been marked as a duplicate during reviewing, I feel like it will not meet the removal criteria.

Thanks for the appeal, @rawwrs! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.

I have to agree with tnt.

Many reviewers (myself included) would say that even if play equipment is part of the same general area, if it is separated by either enough distance (personally 20-30m is my mental go-to), a notable fence as is the case here or by use (i.e. a play area for toddlers is not the same as an adventure climbing area), then there’s no reason to call them duplicates.
