I have experienced a situation where a Wayspot has a different location in Wayfarer and in Pokémon GO; I have perceived it to be a bug, as I would ordinarily expect the locations to align across the two.
I requested a location edit for the Wayspot “Fodboldspillere” in early August via the Help Chat, moving it from ‘55.701605, 12.572787’ to ‘55.701415, 12.572975’. The location was subsequently moved, and Fodboldspillere appears at 55.701415, 12.572975 on the Wayfarer Map.
However, on the Pokémon GO map (through Map - Pokémon GO), it still appears at the old coordinates of ‘55.701605, 12.572787’. This should reflect the game board, and did so last time I was by (a week ago).
The problem has persisted from around the ~10th of August and is currently still ongoing.
The nearby Wayspot “Parken” at ‘55.702586, 12.570451’ also appears on the Wayfarer map, after it was removed and subsequently re-added in August. It has the “Gym” icon on the Wayfarer map. After it was initially removed, it has not re-appeared on the Pokémon GO map, which also seems like an issue, given that it should appear according to the Wayfarer map?
Hoping to get a poke here to make them behave properly, or just clarification of course.
