Location is lost after saving a draft

Windows 11 Chrome

This happened for every draft I just created. I started with New Submission, set the location and a title, clicked Save as Draft, then chose New Submission from the “Draft Saved” screen.

This returns me to a new submission page as expected, but every single time the location has been lost:

I have to repeatedly click on Retry until the page decides it knows my location.

Yep, can confirm. Seems to be about a 70% chance it finds the location the first time and a 0% chance when you do this.

Working on PC, with location enabled and stable wi-fi.

I forgot to say that sometimes on the very first “new submission” it couldn’t find the location, so my experience exactly matches yours.

It also happens while editing a draft, but the location does get loaded after a few seconds. Which is irritating if you have already scrolled down to edit the description, since the page layout changes whilst you are typing.

The best way to handle this is to open the edit drafts page and wait for several seconds until the page decides it knows where I am. Not the best UI choice.
