Wayfarer Abuse Ladder Changes - Discussion

It was 80.

No, this was shortly after the level cap was raised to 80. I went from 28 to 34 from the level adjustments.

How do you know it isn’t open to everyone?

This is clearly a single family private residential property here and ineligible.

It shape like a house, look like a house, surrounded area like a neighborhood house area, it is private residential property and is ineligible.

It isn’t.

To paraphrase @TrungLatias, it looks like a house, smells like a house and sounds like a house. It’s a private house.

Stop being ridiculous. (I’m tired of pandering to abuse.)

I am really confused by this. Do you mean that your friend came here to the forum and was confused because he saw Japanese characters in some topics and English discussions in other topics? I mean, welcome to the internet.

I happen to think providing support in more than one language makes Wayfarer more welcoming than it used to be. Also, this forum has the ability to translate any individual comment into your preferred language, a feature that we did not have on the old forum or on most social media sites. Additionally, almost all internet browsers have a built-in translation feature that can be found somewhere in the settings.

Finally, if your friend had simply chosen to type in their native language (I’m assuming German?), there are several native speakers in this community who could have answered them, both in the Ambassador ranks and regular Wayfinders.

In 2026, with all this language support available, I don’t think it is a fair criticism to say that they were “turned off” by the forum language situation. Now, translations within the Wayfarer product
those criticisms are always fair.

I also find it really hard to believe that a German would be shocked / confused by the idea of multiple languages. I mean, I’m from the UK, where people seem to be proud that they can’t speak any other languages, but Germany? It’s literally surrounded by other languages.

Obviously disregard this comment if it turns out that the friend isn’t German!

I know not everyone does, but I appreciate the sarcasm. :joy:

oh :woman_facepalming:

i take everything at face value.

You’re not wrong. If this was Reddit, I would’ve done the same. :joy:

Meanwhile, just got another fake LFL to review. This one was third party photos, not ai. Rejected and filed an abuse report.

No offense mate, but hitting level 35 in the new system only requires 2.1 million XP. That’s nothing. Pop a lucky egg during a raid day and you’re halfway there.

It’s an odd looking church.

Heck yeah! I just went report skeet shooting on a disc golf course that I saw while reviewing. Bagged me 2 gyms! :bullseye:

I report every disc golf course I come across, too. How are submitters and reviewers not getting the information that these are not eligible?

Why doesn’t Scopely tell AI to scrutinize anything that has a title or description with “Disc Golf” or “Little Free Library”? That’s the real question.

Wait did you individually report all of those from the map?? I started listing disc golf courses in a spreadsheet because I ran out of reports reporting a bunch of duplicate imported wayspots

I do them in a single abuse form report for all of them on the same course. If you can’t see the links at the top of the forum, it is here:

I had taken a break from reporting for a couple of weeks so it replenished my reports. I thought about filling out a report but didn’t want to have to list each one individually. Plus I like being able to monitor them using the Wayfarer tools. But yeah, probably should’ve just done a report.
