I am requesting the permanent removal of this Wayspot from the network.
Reasons for removal:
Private / Restricted Residential Property: This amenity is located inside a private, gated apartment/residence building. It is strictly for private residential tenants and not accessible to the general public.
Ineligible Location: It does not have safe public pedestrian access and violates the criteria regarding private residential community spaces.
Please review this location and retire the Wayspot from the map.
Objects in or upon apartment blocks, gated communities, or their shared spaces may be eligible assuming they otherwise meet criteria and are intended to be accessed by a community, even if not everyone.
While apartment common amenities can be eligible if accessible to that resident community, this specific facility has no verified public presence, no external signage, and the building strictly prohibits non-resident access. Furthermore, there is no evidence confirming this amenity is actively maintained or genuinely exists in this building. I request Niantic staff to review the validity of this location directly.
This appeal has nothing to do with any other Wayspots in the cell. My concern is strictly about the accuracy of the Wayspot database and whether this private amenity actually exists. I will leave the evaluation to the Niantic team.
Why would they remove it? They will need evidence that it doesn’t exist. You may very well be right, I’ve also seen that many of the imported wayspots are incorrect.
But especially at this location most wayspots are imported. Should they just remove all of them without proof?
I see this is a gym. We see a lot of posts here where people want a gym removed so that one will go live somewhere else. Please be aware that a false report can be considered abuse.
Staff must have concrete evidence that the Wayspot meets their internal removal criteria before removing any Wayspot. You have mentioned safety issues. Street View does not indicate any issue with safety at this Wayspot.
The title translates to Turan Residence. You have suggested there is no place to live here? There is definitely a place to live here on street view. If it is misnamed, that can be fixed with an edit, not a removal. If it doesn’t exist now, you will need to supply evidence of that.
Staff members on the forum will have user names that start with “ScopelyExp” so the rest of us are just pointing out issues we see so you can address them in the appeal.
You have contradicted yourself. You have acknowledged that access in apartments is required only to the resident community and then complained that this apartment only allows access to the resident community.
This is not eligible for removal as already explained. Be glad that this wayspot (and every other wayspot near it) even exists,. but nothing near here was submitted by the community.
