Wayspot removed after request to move to correct location

  • Wayspot Title: Bunker Mu22
  • Location (lat/lon): 50.940910, 3.733140
  • City: Merelbeke-Melle
  • Country: Belgium
  • Additional Information:

After requesting that the wayspot (a Gym in Pokemon Go) would be moved to the correct position (50.940923,3.732938), the wayspot was removed.
The wayspot is safely accessible and viewable from the street, and is a historical landmark. The bunker is government-owned and an artifact from the World War era.
There are multiple of these bunkers in the area, and there is a highly frequented walking route that runs along them.
The bunkers are ideal places for stargazing and are used by the community for spotting rare birds in the area.
The routes and visits to the bunkers are actively promoted by the municipality:

This is also the case for other bunkers in the greater area:

Many bunkers in the area have been documented, along with their correct name, and this bunker is now missing from the collection as it was removed.

Its visible from street but it seems to be incorrecly placed. Wayspot are supposed to be placed on the object but i see that some of it is placed near street because the real object is inside farm.

If this bunker is inside farm, it probably got removed because of it. The other bunker also might be removed soon if this is true.

Is it farm surrounding the bunker?

It seems there are so many bunker but i think they are all inside farm.

The bunkers are owned by the government, and the government actively promotes visiting them and organizes walks to view them from the inside, see the brochures.

What about the land surrounding it? Is it farm? Wayfarer staff will make the final verdict. I suggest you to look into who own the land surrounding those bunker.

In places like the UK this would probably not be an issue. Many objects like this and ancient monuments are on farms/fields with paths to allow visiting. I would try to show paths to demonstrate regular visits
