After submitting my PokéStop, I received a rejection notice and a separate email like this.
The reason for the rejection was that the photo I submitted contained defamatory and violent content.
I submitted a shelter at the park entrance, and I don’t know what the problem was.
If the rejection was due to issues like location or photo quality, I would have addressed the issues and resubmitted.
However, I also received a warning email along with the reasons I mentioned above. This PokéStop’s review process even included a Niantic review, but I don’t understand the reasoning.
It’s a busy area, so I can see the shapes of vehicles and people, but I can’t identify the license plate or a specific person’s face. Even if that’s the reason, doesn’t this photo contain defamatory or violent content? I haven’t received any disciplinary action, but I’ve filed a separate appeal against this decision. I’m curious to hear the community’s thoughts. Did I overlook something?

Sometimes you get a rejection like this if the photo is taken from another source, or the reviewers think that it is from another source. Did you take the photo yourself?
yeath of course, but i know the answer.
My phone’s Ai automatically corrects photos after taking photos, and this must have been a problem. In our community, there are a lot of reviewers who apply too strict the quality of photos. So I set it up to test the new AI function to keep photos neat and forgot to turn it off when taking photos for stop submission. Compared to the original, I think Ai deleted some people. I know why, so I’ll be careful next time.
