There are 2 separate things.
Handling of queries around ticket numbered queries in help chat - admin type issue
Handling of where’s my pokestop queries.
One of the issues of one big long topic it can very confusing if several queries are overlapping.
The format we have on Discourse does not lend itself well to overlapping totally different queries.
It is also not predictable how any one query might develop. it could be one answer and done or it expands to 20 or more.
Mega threads on a single topic work well eg UK postboxes
I don’t think it would work well for where is my pokestop.
Hopefully the current situation around helpchat tickets will improve. I think ( ?) this is up to the Wayfarer Team to say what helps them manage these queries best.
At the moment I think it best to encourage patience if possible and if we are directing people to the help chat that we warn them of issues.
