I am writing to report a major database sync issue affecting multiple approved Wayspots at a family-friendly campground property. There are several approved locations that are fully active and visible as Portals in Ingress and appear on the Pokémon GO nomination map screen (marked with exclamation points). However, they are completely missing from the normal Pokémon GO gameplay map.
No Property Restrictions: The property is a safe, public-access recreational campground. It is not a school, military base, or private residential property, and the owner has not requested any game bans.OpenStreetMap Verification: The property is correctly mapped on OpenStreetMap as tourism=camp_site.
The owner of the campground also owns Artillery ridge in gettysburg, PA whitch has 2 pokestops and a gym i belive so the owner doesn’t have a ban on the location.
I belive something glitched and the address somehow stopped them from appearing in pokemon go they.
I don’t believe the owner had them removed because he owns other campground that dont have them removed and i also know the owner of the campground.
Edit: Sorry i didn’t know ingress moved away from Wayfarer.
If ScopelyExp staff tell you that this was a property owner request, then you should talk to the owner about removing it. This does not appear to be a camp primarily for children, so that is the only reason I can think of.
It is a family-friendly campground Though so i dont see issues with it not aloud. The only thing i can think of is that the owner is kinda newer he bought the campground a couple years back.
