付近のWayspotの高野大橋 橋梁顕彰碑(34.597304, 135.552247)と重複と考えましたが、これも受け入れられませんでした。

それぞれの位置は200mほど離れていて別の対象物ですが、同じ橋上に位置していて、書かれている文字や航空写真、装飾などは全て全く同じものであると思われます。この「高野大橋案内板」に「高野大橋 橋梁顕彰碑」とは別の探索上の役割や魅力があると思われませんが、200mも離れていると同じ橋上だとしても重複とは考えられないものなのでしょうか？
こちらも、再度のご検討をお願いいたします。
I agree the first pair are duplicates, since it is exactly the same POI, but the bridge wayspots are for separate things. It depends on whether the plaque at the end of the bridge is eligible in its own right or only as a proxy for the bridge.

However, considering the descriptions, it seems to me that both Wayspots for this bridge were nominated and registered not just as plaques, but as “places where you can learn about the bridge’s history.” So I was wondering if we really need two places that both provide the same information about the bridge’s history.
Staff members on the forum who can take action will have user names that begin with “ScopelyExp” - the rest of us are just passionate Wayfinders.
This sounds like they were submitting for themselves.
Acting as a proxy for the bridge would be like a park that has no distinct features except a rules and regulations board at the entrance. This could be used as a marker, which isn’t eligible for itself but only as a proxy to represent the park.
Each POI is evaluated for its own merits without regard to what else is nearby (unless an actual duplicate). I’m happy with these both being wayspots.
@GOGOYUMEME is referring to the action I did take, which was to make a “duplicate wayspot” report from the wayfarer map.
