Our Ambassadors have made us aware of an issue impacting Wayspot Location Edit submission through Pokémon GO. Our team is investigating the issue and we hope to have more information to share soon.

Will the tickets re-open when the issue is fixed / Will it show back up when a response is given?

I believe my submission location edit likely has this issue as it was closed with no response or email notification in any way. I made a new one, essentially asking for help about the first one being closed with no answer/email as a follow-up. If that’s the case in mine you guys can close my second ticket and I’ll continue waiting on a response on the first. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you guys squash the issues!

Hi, did you make a location edit request through help chat or via Pokemon go?

I believe I tried through Pokemon Go, but the Marker kept snapping back to it’s location (the wrong one). So I had to do it via the Help chat edit location

I believe that is the usual when attempting to move over 10 metres.

I don’t believe that the Help Chat requests are included in this Issue but they have their own issues which is causing them to take much longer than expected.

Same issue here. I submitted location correction ticket #460138 on September 30, 2026, and it still has not been addressed. I provided the current coordinates, the correct coordinates, an explanation for why the original pin was misplaced, and supporting information showing the mural’s actual location. Other reports have been processed since then, but this location edit remains unresolved.

This issue was the Google Map not loading correctly when you go to edit the location in Pokemon Go client. It is a different issue to what you are describing.
